Nydia was excellent! After an initial download of information pertinent to our agreement she was able to draft an agreement which was perfectly suited for my situation. So much so that there were very few edits or revisions once my spouse's lawyer reviewed it. She was also able to see ahead of any potential problem areas in the agreement. She was also very courteous and professional in her guidance which focused on content, structure and process. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Attorney Streets represented our family in a case against the State of FL, the Attorney General's Office and the FL Office of Vital statistics in establishing maternal rights for both birth mother and mother. Our family fell into a legislative limbo where state offices safeguarded themselves with the lack of legislative or legal directive to do the right thing and include both rightful parents via marriage on our son birth certificate. We could have done a second parent adoption, but this would not had helped in the legal precedent needed to change the laws for other families. Ms. Streets always made us feel how important our case was to her and fought the state tooth and nail to achieve what was fair and legally our right. She was able to secure an agreement from the state, and just a couple of weeks ago, both a judge and the state agreed to include me as a mother on my son's birth certificate. I could not be happier with her services. She was clear in our expectations, the processes to follow, and the steps we needed to take to move the case along. It took some time, but she was dealing with the state and a very conservative legislative body. At the end she prevailed and our case was successfully resolved. I would recommend her services for any same sex families in need of legal representation for parental rights. I would also recommend her for any other type of family law issues as she was extremely professional, diligent and knowledgeable. She also made us feel important and was kind and positive.
