I strongly discourage you from working with this attorney. He took money from us for a retainer but did absolutely nothing in my case. He didn't even contact the court to inform them of my current contact information as we discussed, so I had even more work to do to settle the case than if I had never called him at all. We sat in his office as he took a "template" (a document from a case from another client) and modified the information to fit our case (it didn't fit). I ended up resolving this case in mediation without his assistance because he ignored my calls, texts, and a certified letter sent to him nearly a year after he took our retainer. He'll be very nice to you on the phone and in person, but will ultimately take your money and deliver nothing. I am filing a complaint with the Florida Bar Association. Only hire this guy if you don't care about your legal issues.

I was referred to Mr. Pagan by a dear friend of mine when my ex and I separated and I was in need of a family law attorney. Right away, he took and interest in my case and sat with me for hours to explain my rights as an unwed mother in Miami and started the paternity case. My ex was being extremely difficult about letting me see our 2 yr daughter, and Mr. Pagan not only helped me with the case, but also gave me wonderful advice and reassured me in such a difficult time. My experience with him has been so positive, drama free and overall so so helpful. I have no words to express my gratitude. I would surely recommend his services.

First, l would like to say that my family and I are so very thankful to have found Mr. Pagan. We encountered a situation in which the opposing party (crazy ex-husband) filed an emergency motion while my family and I were on our way out of town, on vacation. I googled attorneys in Miami while on the road, and he was one of the ones that popped up which inspired confidence in me. My husband and I called a multitude of attorneys (15+) in the Miami area hoping to get a call back from at least a couple of them, and he was the ONLY ONE who called back (himself, not his paralegal) within a reasonable amount of time (almost immediately). When we initially made contact, we had less than 9 hours to respond to the emergency motion. He got a quick background about our case and immediately went to work. Mr. Pagan was confident, and knew exactly what to do to reach a quick resolution. Many attorneys will gladly waste your time and money 'spinning wheels' and going back and forth for days with the opposing counsel, while telling you you're going to get the desired outcome. In most cases, you just end up spending a lot of money to get a mediocre result (been there, done that with my last two attorneys). Mr. Pagan was straight to the point and honest about the likely outcome of our situation, and had no intentions of wasting my time or money. He may not always tell you exactly what you want to hear, but the honesty of his advice is preferred to the sugar coating and disappointment that you will get from most attorneys. He was not only professional, attentive, and kind, but he also was able to relate to our situation from his own personal experiences. This, to me, was the selling point when choosing Mr. Pagan as my attorney. He is extremely easy to talk to, and most certainly will NOT make you feel 'dumb' because you don't know the law. I always felt like I was talking to a friend rather than an attorney, and felt very comfortable and confident taking his advice. I also wanted to mention that his rate is extremely fair and affordable, and I got much better results with him than I have with attorneys that I have paid almost double for in the past. The fact I was out of town during this entire process was no issue to Mr. Pagan whatsoever. He communicated very effectively, followed up with ALL calls plus some, took into consideration our wishes, and committed himself to resolving our case as soon as possible to not incur any excessive fees. I was able to contact him by phone, text, and email, and each and every time I called I spoke directly to him, not a receptionist or paralegal; this to me is priceless. I already had a hard time keeping up with things from the stress this was causing my family and I while out of town, but Mr. Pagan handled everything, and put our minds at ease in no time so that we could get back to enjoying our vacation. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. Pagan, and just how grateful we are to this man; he literately bailed us out of a bad situation. With my previous attorneys it would have taken weeks (if not months), and thousands of dollars for them to resolve this, but Mr. Pagan had everything completely settled in a matter of days (that's unheard of!). Moving forward, I will only have Mr. Pagan handle my affairs as I already know I will get top notch representation at an affordable price, and from a very compassionate and committed attorney. I googled "Divorce Lawyers Miami, FL" and came across Jose Pagan. Jose was rated higher than most of the other lawyers that were listed and all the reviews I read, recommended to use him. I immediately called Jose and he offered a free consultation. After speaking with him for seven minutes, I knew that I was going to hire him to be my Divorce Lawyer. I told Jose that I lived in Boston, MA, but that did not affect his work quality. He emailed and faxed me all the documents that I needed and responded to all my emails and calls in a timely manner. Jose was on top of everything from the moment him and I spoke. When Jose was unavailable, his office followed up with me to ensure all was well. Jose showed empathy for my situation and did everything in his power to help me get divorced. Jose filed the papers, scheduled the court date, and made sure the process was as smooth as possible. Once I arrived to get divorced on the scheduled court date, I was divorced within 15 minutes. I don't know about you, but I have never been in and out of court within 15 minutes for any reason. Stop looking for another Lawyer, trust me, Jose Pagan is who you want!

My Personal Bankruptcy was handled with not only professionalism, also with patient. He also stopped the wage garnishment quickly after filing. He is a nice person. I tried to file Bankruptcy over two years ago with the legal aide of Dade county the lawyer that initially accepted my case then stated that he would not be able to handle my case due to the fact that he was representing some of my creditors and he was going to send my case back to the legal aide. Two years later still nothing I decided to call them again this time I was referred to Mr. Antonio Pagan and It was a whole different Experience. He called me the same day that I was referred to him which was on a Friday afternoon and set the expectations of what he was going to do and the time frame where we would have everything taken care of for me. On Monday Morning he gave me a call which was shocking because a lot of lawyers I’ve dealt with would not call and get thing started this quick which showed me that he was really willing to help me and get this situation handled in a timely manner. Immediately he started on my case which he was doing free of charge because it was thru the legal aide. Long story short my case was taken care of in a month with court date and all. This is one of the best Law firms I have dealt with and will refer anyone to Mr.Pagan he didn’t try to get any extra money out of me for any unnecessary lawyer charges. If I have another case I would defiantly not hesitate to give him a call again. He was always available thru text or phone call he was on Vacation and told me if I needed anything don’t hesitate to call him.
