This law firm is the most unprofessional law firm I have ever come across. They agreed to take on my son's case, which was a SJS case, (Stevens Johnson Syndrome) only to send me a letter in the mail a year and a half later stating that they would no longer be taking his case with no explanation. When I called to ask them why they would no longer take the case, no one returned my call. I feel like they purposely did this. I feel that way because there is a statue of limitations on these types of cases...and to be quite Frank I feel like they were paid off. I believe they started out working on the case but somewhere along the way they lead me to believe they were working on my son's case but they weren't doing anything. I would call them from time to time to check on the status of the case. They would send me papers to sign because I live about 8 hours away, only for me to sign it and send it back and have to do it all over again because they would claim that they didn't get it....this happened several times. The last time I spoke with Andrew I was checking on the status because I had not heard anything after sending in the pharmacy authorization release form, he told me that they were still waiting on me to send that form. I told him that I had sent that paper in already. Let me add, that had been my second time doing so. He strolled through his notes and told me that I was right and they had gotten that paper. He claimed that, that was the hold up. A couple of months later I received the letter stating that they could no longer help me but did not give me any explanation. I called and left a message with the secretary explaining to her what I wanted, which was some sort of explanation as to why they dropped my son's case. They have not attempted to contact me as of yet. I believe they purposely let my son's case sit on their desk or in an unopened file in their computer for a year and a half because they were paid off. Those are my feelings; and of course things like that do happen. Now no other attorney wants to take the case for two reasons. The first one is, one law firm had the case for a year and a half and the other is the statute of limitations. My son almost died. It looked like he was literally thrown into a fire. He spent 25 days at Shands hospital in Gainesville and 21 of those days he was in the burn clinic. He was 12 years old at the time. He was on a breathing tube and a feeding tube the majority of his stay there because of an allergic reaction. PEOPLE PLEASE BE AWARE! May God bless whomever is reading this!
