Clean, determined, and undisputed in the courts. Richard L. Cooper is the only type of defense you need by your side when you’re looking at multiple felonies and need someone to advocate for you your innocence. He takes it a few miles further than any lawyer I’ve ever met, he always answers questions fast with full details and made sure our my corner was the winning corner in my case. Based off my experiences, you should 100% hire Richard as your criminal defense attorney if you want guaranteed the best defense money can buy. He is an amazing friend and the best attorney that can be on your side.

Richard has not disappointed me one bit. Richard is an amazing lawyer and a great guy. He succeeded in getting my case and my friends case dismissed when other lawyers wanted to simply plea. Five stars is not enough to describe the help Richard delivers. First off, every case is different because every individual client is different but I got a favorable outcome, meaning Big W. Richard is more than an attorney for representation. Richard understands the stress of having a legal problem in the criminal justice system and consults with the client to make the experience easier. Attorney Richard L. Cooper was a great through out my whole entire case, Very honest and Sincere, I came to him last minute and I was very stressed out but he got the job done. He explained what to expect in court and what needed to be done before hand. he was very helpful and patient. I cannot thank this man enough for his service. I really needed him when I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm trying to get into a prestigious university, and right in the middle of applying to said university I was hit with a complex criminal trespassing case. At first I went with a public defender just to see what I was up against. I was basically told I should probably take the deal (6 months probation, 30 hours community service, restitution and a written apology) being that my case would be an uphill battle in the small town it was being prosecuted in; but I just didn't accept that as anything but a dismissal would mean a criminal record and likely diminish my chanced at getting into this university. I called probably 20+ different criminal defence attorneys; all highly rated and experienced, trying to find one that I felt comfortable and confident with handling my case. Out of all of them, at least 3 basically told me to take the deal being offered by the prosecutor, maybe 7+ told me a withhold of adjudication was a best case scenario, one that was personally recommended to my by a friend essentially told me he doesn't work on smaller cases and was prepared to refer me to another partnering firm, and the rest left me with a vague and unconvincing "I'll see what I can do". Richard is the only attorney that would happily take my case and assured me that with some work from his side of things, a dismissal was very much so in the realm of possibility. Not to mention, at this point after 20+ consultations I finally found and got in contact with him late at night with only 10 days to go before my next court date. He begun working on my case that night to get a jump on things. Amazing work ethic. After giving him all of the evidence and details I could remember about my case, I was hands-off, I just left him to his work; and I'm so glad I did. Richard transferred the case downtown to the main city courthouse where the bias of a small town courthouse and prosecutor wouldn't make it an uphill battle from the beginning. From there he kept me in the loop, every couple weeks giving me updates with good news to show for. At first he had gotten the deal down to just probation, but HE wasn't satisfied yet. A few weeks later, a diversion program, case to be dismissed upon completion of xx hours community service. I was so happy considering how many attorneys told me this wasn't even a possibility. My only issue now was a few terms of the agreement, in short, by the next morning it was taken care of beyond my expectations. I cannot put in words how much I recommend this man as an attorney. He has possibly changed my whole life for the better and made potential for future opportunities possible. Thank you, Richard.
