We hired Kristy to help us with our immigration case which was not an easy one giving that it was related to a specific visa (J1 type) and it involved some non regular filings and procedures. However, Kristy did a remarkable job handling our case, making all the researches necessary to support it and keeping us up to date at every time. My father was in jail in Broward after he was arrested for felony aggravate assault with a deadly weapon. He had a public defender who did nothing in over one year. My dad was stuck in jail because immigration would not give bond. We hired miss Figueroa-Contreras to see if she could help defend against this felony charges. And she did a great job. She took the case to jury trial in Fort Lauderdale, it lasted 4 days, her against two prosecutors, she worked hard, and she won. I had a very difficult and complex H-1B visa case. I had already worked in the U.S. for 6 years. But I had an approved I-140. Kristin Figueroa-Contreras was able to use AC21 (American Competitiveness in the Twenty-First Century Act) to help me obtain an H-1B visa beyond 6 years. My H-1B application had two RFE's (Request for Evidence) and was complicated because of other personal issues. But in the end she got the approval. She is very highly qualified and determined at helping her clients. Strongly recommended for Immigration issues.
