I FINALLY found a lawyer who fought for me as a FATHER – Spencer West is the first lawyer that has listened and cared about my rights as a father. From my very first consultation at Mitchell & West, LLC, I knew this firm was different. My son turns 18 in September. I got divorced and have been paying child support since my son was 7 years old. After many years of heartbreak, financially crushing losses in court and numerous lawyers who seemingly only made my situation worse, I began doing research on father’s rights attorney’s in Miami. Spencer and his team have fought harder in the 1+ years for me than every other lawyer combined. Sadly we have a very broken Family Court system that unjustly favors mother’s, no matter what her circumstances may be. South Florida is full of sketchy, unreliable, greedy attorneys. The combination creates a system designed for fathers to fail in court. BUT there is hope – This firm will fight for you! Spencer is ethical, genuine, fair and honest. I recommend any father who feels hopeless in Family Court to know there is a firm who cares about you and your rights. I only wish I’d found Spencer sooner and am infinitely grateful for all he’s done for me.

My attorney was Mr. West. I was going through a tough time trying to get my biological niece under my guardianship simply because she was adopted but somehow Mr. West with the amazing help of Mrs.Grace has made this happen. After a long year and a half finally my niece is living a happy life under my care. And that’s all thanks to those two! They where very caring towards my case and very informative and patient. They are truly incredible human beings. They deserve a 5 star!

Spencer’s West is a scam artist. He convinced us he would defend me 150% and for the best of my kids. Once we got to mediation he did not defend me not one bit. He let the other party agree to everything. Definitely felt like he got paid off. Such a waste of money, time, but most importantly he did not put my kids importance first. Not fair to them now they have to deal with something they should have never been put in the middle of. Ladies please find another attorney. Do not waste your money on this guy. TOTAL SCAM! He will steal your money and NOT DEFEND YOU when it’s time!

The best family law firm in Florida! Spencer helped me with establishing paternity for my daughter, the way the florida law was written i had NO chance of winning this case. The mom was married but separated for 8 years. Florida law recognize the husband as the child's father so i was going to have ZERO rights to my child. Spencer was able to fight for me by getting the husband to sign a affidavit of non paternity and the mom to sign the affidavit acknowledging paternity. I am now not only the biological father but legal father of my daughter due to Spencer's help. In addition Spencer was able to prove that the mother was unfit to care for the child and i was given full custody of my daughter. I am amazed at the outcome and what this firm did for me. Everyday i wake up and see by beautiful daughter, i have Spencer West to thank for that. I hope no one has to go through what i did, however if you do call Spencer!
