I was looking for an attorney to hire to help me enforce my parenting plan. I was between two attorneys and the reason I went ahead with Mr. Steven D. Kaufman was he told me from the beginning exactly what he wanted to do with my case. I felt, comparing to the other attorney I spoke to previously, he was the one with more experience and the only attorney to describe how he will approach my case. In addition, Mr. Kaufman was always available through text message/phone call. This was very surprising, but it made me feel he was always ready to speak on my case and give me the best legal advice possible. I would be more than happy to hire Mr. Kaufman again for any family law issue I may have in the future. His assistant, Ms. Hernandez, is a hardworking and intuitive individual. Mr. Kaufman solved my problem in very short time. He is a great lawyer. After having a few attorneys and wasting thousands of dollars for nothing, I find Mr. Kaufman and he finalized it. Let me start by saying I had consulted other lawyers about my divorce before I decided to hire Mr. Kaufman as my lawyer. He was referred to me by a friend and I am so glad I found this lawyer at such a complicated stage in my life. From the first consultation, he makes you feel comfortable and he actually listens to what you have to say, unlike other lawyers that feel entitled. I feel like the process was fast and easy. Obviously, depending on your case time might vary but nonetheless, he makes you feel at ease. Communication between you and your lawyer is key in these type of situations and Mr. Kaufman was definitely there all the time. He would reply to emails and phone calls fast. He was even available on the weekends! I would really recommend you hire him to assist you with your divorce and separations. His staff is also very nice and attentive.
