I wouldn't have asked for a better lawyer to represent my case but also my future. I at the age of 19 years old arrested due to negligence and pure immaturity. Most would see my charges and think that " that something you can’t easily get out of." My options were limited and the odds were against me, but after hiring Raul Recoba and believing in his work, my outlook started to change and I began to regain hope. I was facing three years in prison for trafficking charges, Raul Recoba was able to not only fight for a "withhold adjudication" (meaning once i completed my probation I would not plead guilty to my crimes) but also, fought for the possibility of early termination because he believed I would learn from my mistakes and grow into the person I should be. Initially I received 5 year probation with 1 year of community control. At first, It seemed like such a long time and frankly I was worried I was not going to make it. But, with Rauls help and support, he believed I was destined for a better so he pushed me towards a brighter future. I complied with my probation, paid my fees, passed all my drug tests, and sucked it up for about 3 years. Suddenly, I was applicable for early termination and in that time was also accepted to a University to continue my education. Rest assure, Raul fought for a court date for us to go and request early termination to the Judge. Mind you, the prosecutors and probation officials were not having it and gave us a VERY HARD time while we were in court, But the Judge saw Rauls fighting passion and recognized my progress as a young adult and we won!!! I am now here a year later after successfully completing my probation, enrolled in school and doing my best to be a better version of myself. Not only thanks to Rauls hard work as my lawyer but also as a friend and someone who believed in my betterment. Thank you Raul. You will not regret your decision hiring this law firm!
