When I first applied for my citizenship I thought this process was going to take ages. Joseph Gurian was very prompt and diligent with the paperwork and I was able to go through the process in only 9 months. Now as a citizen I am very grateful to Mr. Gurian for his excellent service and diligence. Cuanso yo primero aplique para la ciudadania, yo pense que el proceso iba a tomar mucho tiempo. PROS: nice guy, very responsive, well staffed office. CONS: made several important and costly errors, causing delays and wasted money, including complete omission of an important material fact, being that if you're filing for immigration based upon marriage if you happen to separate or divorce, his entire flat fee that you paid him up front is gone and wasted because he will withdraw from the case. Shockingly basic that he didn't even know this until I asked him the question. Professionals have exactly that, a professional and ethical if not legal responsibility, to know the law and fully disclosed it to clients especially with such basic circumstances as a potential separation or divorce when you free paid for a full immigration package. Refused to refund any of his money, not surprising coming from an attorney, I would absolutely conduct your due diligence and and my experience I would never ever use this attorney for any type of legal work.
