I was referred to Arthur Spiegel by a close friend who had hired him for a case where my friend had been accused of the crime of DUI. He told me that Spiegel was very well-informed in this area and that he had accomplished excellent results for him. Based on this recommendation, I went to see Mr. Spiegel because I was having trouble with my driver license - it had many suspensions and I did not know how to get this problem solved. When I called this lawyer, his secretary, who was very professional and cordial on the telephone, made an appointment for me for the same day. I met Spiegel in his office and at once I was impressed with his honesty and knowledge. He was able to find my driver license records quickly and discovered the reasons for my suspension within a few minutes. After I hired him, Spiegel was able to have the outstanding suspensions on my license cleared up within a few weeks and I was able to get a new license from the Department of Motor Vehicles. After my driver license was reinstated, I went to court with Mr. Spiegel. I was happy to discover that he is very well-known by the judges and other lawyers in the court house. Each of my cases, as they were scheduled for hearings in front of the various judges to which they had been assigned, were dismissed by the judges after Mr. Spiegel made his presentation on my behalf. I really did not have to say anything. He took care of it all. I was referred to Mr. Spiegel by a friend who had hired him for a criminal defense matter. I was told that Mr. Spiegel was highly experienced; an honest lawyer who was very successful for my friend and, also very importantly, he did his work for a very fair fee. Other lawyers wanted to charge my friend 2 or 3 times what Mr. Spiegel charged for the services he performed. It should be needless to say, but I will tell you anyway, the reason my friend recommended Mr. Spiegel was because Mr. Spiegel won his case for him. When I met him, I was a little skeptical. His secretary was not there, although she did answer the phone whenever I called. His office is in an unusual setting. He has rented a store in a retail shopping center where the Department of Motor Vehicles is located, which is just north of the USCIS center (this used to be called INS) out by the Tamiami Airport in the area of west Kendall. Now, I know why he is located there! People who need legal help to get their driver license issues at the Department of Motor Vehicles taken care of easily can find a competent lawyer to help them. People with immigration questions do not have far to go to locate a lawyer who knows how to answer their questions and solve their problems. I went to see him for several reasons. My mother had passed away and I needed help to probate her estate. I also wanted to know if I should make a will for my self and my husband, or if I should set up a trust. Mr. Spiegel successfully handled the probate of my mother's estate in about 6 months, which I consider to be "record time," for a very reasonable fee. He also set up a Living Revocable Trust with pour-over wills and health-care surrogate/living wills for us, so we do not have to worry about how our health issues will be addressed, if my husband or I get to the point where end of life issues might come up. Believe me, after seeing some of the nightmare scenarios on TV, with people and courts and politicians getting into personal life decisions that families ought to make for themselves, I knew we had to deal with this situation ourselves, so there would not be a burden on our children and families. Since then Mr. Spiegel has become our "family lawyer" for several situations. He has written very effective "lawyer letters" that dealt with problems we were having. They're not problems any more. He also helped us evict a problem tenant. Mr. Spiegel used emails and telephone calls to keep us up to date on everything that was happening with our situations and he always responded to our calls and emailed notes. He will be my lawyer for any issue I have. I highly recommend that you contact him for your situation.
