Serena made inconsiderate comments about how purchasing a home is a bad idea in the middle of me SIGNING to close on a home purchase. I don’t know a single realtor that would want to work with someone saying that to their client at the signing table. I’ve heard all sides of buying vs. not buying. I don’t care because that’s relative to everyone, but it was something completely inappropriate to say while signing for a first time home purchase. The home buying process is already stressful enough and she just added another layer to it for me with her unsolicited opinion that I did not ask for. She said she would never “let” her daughter who is apparently the same age as me purchase a home. She also gave my father (who accompanied me to sign since this is a life milestone) the final signed paperwork once I was done as if his name was on the documents and as if I didn’t pay for it with my hard work and personal funds. It was not funny just awkward. It was misogynistic and infantilizing. My family and I were in shock at her tasteless humor. The company was nearly impossible to get in touch with by myself, my lender or my realtor during the entire process. You would think that at $2500+fees they would give you exceptional service, but instead my experience was ruined. The owner of the firm eventually called to give me an “apology” and said I would “laugh about it in the future when I’m drunk with friends”. Just adding to the disrespect and minimizing my experience.

Very professional and thorough with their work and communication with all parties is done promptly and in the needed detail. Will not hesitate to use them again for my title needs!

My mortgage company had the opportunity to work with Jodi and team @ Strang Tryson and I have to say it was a very different experience than what I've typically dealt with in Miami/S Fla. It was a tricky file and we had to get creative, and Jodi really stepped up and went above and beyond to help strategize with me to get the loan closed. She is a true "dealmaker" in addition to being a terrific attorney.... Just as you wouldn't operate on yourself without being a doctor, you shouldn't also blindly engage in important real estate transactions which can easily turn to your detriment and be costly! Therefore, I couldn't recommend this real estate law firm more for anyone in need to navigate what could be murky and turbulent waters in negotiations. They're an exceptional team with professional and timely customer service and standards. They're always available and answer the phone and email immediately; which is an important advantage. Lastly, they're available to everyone; and utilize technology to make the process seamless.
