It’s very unfortunate that I have to write this review. I am not the type to write reviews, but when situations like these happen, I feel the urge to have to. Madelin assisted me back in 2018 with my divorce. I was fortunate enough to get everything I wanted. That does not mean it came easy. Madelin does not do well with being challenged. She is used to her clients being quiet and just going with everything she says. I feel differently. If I am paying $375-$400 an hour for a service, I feel that I have the right to ask questions and challenge. The second time around. I had to use Madelin for another situation with the initial divorce. Once again we ran into the same issue. When you challenge her, she immediately raises her voice and begin to tell you to be quiet or shut up. I do not feel that is the right way to treat a client. She got upset because I refused to take her advice about taking a deal on a temporary restraining order. I knew I was right and had to win the case and told her several times to not take the deal and continue with the fight. She told me she did not think we would win. Not once is she positive. Well, we ended up winning. Now don’t get me wrong. Madelin is very outgoing and an AMAZING person when she is not being challenged. So if you want to sit back and not worry and ask questions and be informed, then she’s your person. But if you are like me and like to be Involved and ask questions, then she is not the one for you. Lastly, during court, I did not feel she was 100% prepared. She had a lot of studdering and would get lost. This is my sincere experience with her. Her office staff is amazing. And again, don’t challenge or ask questions and Madelin is Excellent. I then told her I will not be having her as my attorney anymore. And she charged me 1.5 hours of work to submit a document of withdrawal. In other words, about $560 to fire her. Incredible.

In my opinion, Madelin Diaz is incompetent and unethical. I hired her to handle my divorce. It was obvious that even though she billed me for reviewing my file and preparing for mediation, she actually did next to nothing to prepare. She had no plan going into the mediation, and basically was willing to take whatever the other side offered. Then when she prepared my settlement agreement, she inserted inconsistent and contradictory provisions, demonstrating that she is lazy, incompetent or both. Because of her screw-up in the agreement, I had to incur the cost of litigating those issues again (of course by then I hired a different lawyer). Madelin Diaz also does not seem to understand her ethical obligation to maintain her client's information in confidence, because she disclosed privileged information. Her legal advice was, in my opinion, worthless.

she is the best attorney that represented my family case and i had 3 prior attorneys. she provided the best advise and brought results. would highly recommend her. always looked out for the clients best interest not other attorneys interests.

I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have Mrs. Diaz represent me through my divorce. She was very knowledgeable, professional, straight to the point and effective attorney. Yet she was also very caring and always available when I had a question/concern. I'll forever be grateful for all the effort she put in to represent me. Madelin guided and helped me through injunctions, domestic violence, divorce, and custody. She is an expert in areas of family law. Not to mention, she can be easily contacted and is there for you every step of the way. She is the Best of the Best!

I can't thank Maddie and all her staff enough for, no just the professional service, but the support thru my divorce. I highly recommend Ms. Diaz to anyone venturing into the unfortunate situation of divorce, custody or any family law issue. Ms. Diaz was instrumental in helping me modifying a 6 year old agreement in Broward County. Many other attorneys told me that there was no way to get this done. Ms. Diaz was able to get this done for me and my children all while dealing with a non-cooperative opposing team and at an affordable cost. These types of situations are usually emotionally charged by both sides of the case and can become quite contentious as a result. Throughout the lengthy process, Ms. Diaz kept me well informed of the facts and focused on the end goal. Madelin represented and guided me thru my divorce. The Lady knows her case law!! Professional and always one step ahead.. I retained her a second time for a Guardianship case and I am happy to say I won that too. Amazing office staff as well. I highly recommend her as a family attorney.

I went back and forth on who to hire to handle my divorce. I was referred to Madelin by a friend who also hired Madelin for her divorce. I can honestly say Madelin was and continues to be amazing! Best decision I ever made to hire her to represent me! From the start Madelin was very honest and professional and explained everything to me in detail. She was very helpful through out the whole horrible time. She did what ever it took to get the divorce finalized, she would go to your house, prepare all documents regarding properties, power of attorney, etc. She can handle the hardest of cases. Always returned phone calls and her office personal were very professional and helpful....
