They placed a blue tarp on my roof, they put it incorrectly, it flew off, they came back to “fix it” and later it flew off again. They blatantly told us they would not come to fix it again. We ended up pulling it off because it was causing more damage. They were unprofessional throughout the whole process. Hard to reach, condescending, Lowball offers and they complicate every step. If you want a good experience, choose another place. Also i’m pretty sure the positive reviews are fake.

Atty McKinnon was very helpful to me when I went through a divorce. This was a very difficult decision to make and she guided me through the process and got me to the other side. I am very thankful for her representation and support.

⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ -Showed up late to my trial. -Confused the judge during the two trails she was my attorney. -Wouldn’t explain anything to me clearly, not even after a trial.I struggled to understand what the judge said or wanted due to legal terms I didn’t know. Asking for what they meant lead to.. -Spoke to me in a condescending tone. -Invoice does not have details (each line just list the action, not the expense). -Staff doesn’t know what’s on contract, so they cannot answer any questions for you. You’d have to book an appointment with Mckinnon, and you will be charged for that. -Signing their contract means that they can withdrawal money from your account at any time; with or without an explanation (they’ll usually have an explanation, but Mckinnon worked on, emailed and filed papers that we did not discuss, and then charged my account for it.) -To withdrawal is a tricky process. Unless you ask them to NOT, you’d have to speak with Mckinnon. To hire them is easy. As long as you can have a consultation and have the retainer money, they’ll take you in with open arms. Except, I was told I needed at least $1000 in my retainer until they needed more, but when I was at $2900, they pulled money from my bank account to “replenish my account”. it was scary. This is my experience. It’s hard to believe this would just happen to me alone, so I’m letting others know, because I wish someone would’ve helped me save time and money with a detailed review like this. I believed in this firm when I first hired them. I hope they see my review and work on these pain points, because this really was the worst experience I ever had. Makes me want to study law and represent myself!

Attorney McKinnon is competent, methodical and empathetic. Other than being difficult to reach due to her high case load, I was satisfied with the outcome of my case. Unfortunately, my legal fees were much more than I had anticipated, but in the end, it was worth the investment. Attorney McKinnon got the job done and she did it well. I was happy with how she represented me in the court room, her demeanor was calm yet confident and she was very thorough. Although she was difficult to get a hold of at times, when we did speak, she listened to my concerns and did a great job preparing me for the final hearing. Her staff was always kind and professional, and when I did have issues they were addressed in a timely manner. Cons: expensive and difficult to communicate with at times. Pros: Knowledgeable, assertive, and effective. Thank you!
