I have nothing but praise for Suzanna Scarborough. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable about workers compensation heart bill cases in Florida. I was diagnosed with hypertension and cardiac arrhythmia while employed by Miami-Dade Police. The county refused to provide medication prescribed by my cardiologist resulting in me having to pay out of pocket. They also refused to cover my cardiology appointments. Miami-Dade PBA recommended the Law firm of Bichler and Longo. I contacted them and Suzanne represented me in receiving the compensation that the county refused to provide. She kept me informed of everything that was happening throughout the process. She was successful in getting me compensated for the money I was owed by Miami-Dade County. Miami-Dade County also provides all of my prescribed medications and appointed a cardiologist for me to see. I have nothing but praise for her and the Law firm of Bichler and Longo. Suzanne’s “Suzi” knowledge & capability . I’ve been a client for over 4 years now with Suzi and fortunately for me I will be with Suzi as long it it takes. My case circumstances end up as a catastrophic event. Note: Every workers Comp Attorney you meet is willing to give it their all in the beginning. However I found out very quickly, the newness wears off very quickly as it did with my 1st Attorney. I can honestly say this will not be the case about Suzi’s knowledge,determination, wisdom and this old fashion expression & please pardon my comparison Suzi. Suzanne is like a friendly dog with a bone, no matter how friendly or how long it takes she won’t let go!!! If you give your personal situation like I did to her, you wont under estimate her kindness caring mannerism for weakness. She is exactly the opposite when it comes to your defense. They are well informed and review your case in most cases as a group sitting down together and brain storming your personal situation or event. This is in my observation and the only way to go as there is True Strength In groups that come together for your best defense structure. I personally experience this at a meeting located in Naples. When I introduced myself to the President of this firm. He knew me, my case details as well without hesitation just from my name. I must say this is impressive. That being said of course not everyone can be as luck as I am to get Suzi as my personal attorney. But if you do get her take it from me personality. You are in great company of a caring representative. I believe that each and everyone in this firm is hired based on this set of standards. I have an extremely complicated case . Even my former employer sent me to Mayo Clinc along with 4 other large specialty hospitals. Suzi has been on this tragic journey with me all the way. Never giving up and believe me my case has taken a long time and effort from this firm. My 1st representative “Attorney” b-4 Suzi wanted me to do all the leg work knowing and very apparent I was incapacitated from general walking, bathing, evening getting dressed was a challenge. Fortunately one of my supervisor told me privately to contact Suzi. I did. I was desperate to find the right fit & help. What a relief it was after my 1st visit w/Suzi. I looked no further! I actually told Suzi I’d like to go back to work & I did as long as I could. I gave it my all to stay work even in a light duty capacity. Unfortunately I had exhausted all my time off including 2 request to the sheriff to keep my job. I could no longer preform my duties, not even keep my thoughts while typing out reports. Suzi respected my wishes and then Suzi explained that I had been deemed by doctors as I have reached my maximum medical improvement of recovery from my injuries and I was not a candidate for any type of corrective surgeries. This was a hard pill to swallow. However with Suzi guidance as she explained every option In detail made this easier. Suzi handled everything in the beginning and now for 4 plus years &still going strong. You can not find this type of knowledge and extended client caring services just anywhere. Don’t make a mistake like I did with my 1st Attorney! Pick the best 1st and then you can relax knowing you have a 100% qualified support system. Anyone can start out with good, caring, intentions,services however can they keep up the same services year after year? Suzi and this legal firm does exactly that. They continue with the same 100% caring, continue negotiating and working for your best interest. You will not be sold out or favored out. I have been employed as a police officer for over 40 years. I suffered a significant heart attack in 2016. I had no idea I was eligible for state benefits.
