This dude is a douche! Just rude

A very excellent lawyer highly recommend for any case. He’s very negotiable and is concern for your safety. Best lawyer I came across. Speak in a very kind and lovely tone, a person you can trust and speak more to about any situation.

I am ecstatic and very grateful for the way you handled my daughter's case. Your advice, expertise and diligence makes you a credit to your profession. Your fees are reasonable and your knowledge, technique and understanding of the situation brought comfort to an otherwise stressful situation. Thank you for everything, but most importantly, for agreeing to handle the case the way she wanted. I think that had a lot to do with the dismissal of my case. You advised, but you also listened, and that is a very important character for an attorney. She and I will definitely recommend you to anyone who needs an attorney.

Richard Hornsby is a gruff, no-nonsense bulldog type of lawyer that you want in court. He might say things you don't want to hear occasionally, and he isn't cheap, but he met with us on a Sunday morning after calling him on a Friday afternoon, he was always there, his advice was spot-on, and I felt confident that I was in good hands, and that's worth it. EDIT: I took a couple stars off this review because after I posted it, he was one of the rudest, most self-important people I have ever met in my life whose biggest objection to me is that I didn't immediately genuflect in his presence and wanted to think about hiring him for a couple days. It turned out that I didn't really need to hire him, either, and I knew it and got talked into it by others. But while I do think he would have made an excellent lawyer had i actually needed him, dude really needs to remember who's paying whom and show a little respect.

Amazing, attentive, responsive. I reached out on a Saturday morning and within a half hour, had a return call and was assured that all would be handled appropriately and expeditiously. I highly recommend using Mr. Hornsby for your legal needs. We had a nice conversation over the phone, and he laid out what he would do with my case and gave me a fair assessment of legal costs. I then, a few days later met with him in his office and he started working on my case. Whenever I reached out or called him I had a response back within the hour. I thought the price I was quoted was fair, and I did not have to worry about any other hidden costs. This seems to happen a lot with other attorneys where you are quoted one price and all of sudden that price has doubled before you know it. He has a nice office location and is very well connected to the Orlando area. Show me another attorney in the Orlando area that posts his court outcomes on his website. If you are on the fence or think his fee is a little higher than the other attorney you called, go with Mr. Hornsby, who has been practicing a long time in Orlando and has dealt with the courts for many years. You’re going to be mad at yourself that you hired the lawyer that was fresh out of law school that was cheaper when you don’t get the results you want.

We had a very tough situation with an arrest in Florida. We are from Ohio and needed some very good advise and a strong representation. Richard was recommended. He was extremely thorough and helped us through the entire process. His fees were fair. Also, when the charge took a turn and it became clear it was going to take more time and effort to resolve the case he never moved off of his original fee to handle the case. You will not be disappointed.

My experience was that Richard Hornsby was impatient and a bully. I had a criminal incident in 2013 and I emailed Mr. Hornsby. he called me the following day while I was at work, and I tried to discreetly explain my situation to him. He was very impatient with me and just seemed very short and disinterested. That's not a huge deal on its own, but then, that's not really why I'm leaving this review. I decided to leave a negative review of my experience with Mr. Hornsby online. In my review, I mentioned that I didn't end up hiring Mr. Hornsby, but that my experience with him was less than favorable, and I explained why. It was then that Mr. Hornsby emailed me and threatened to disclose the details of my case in his online response to my review. He was essentially bullying me into removing my completely valid review of my interaction with him. I've done my research and I've seen members of the Florida bar who have been disciplined for doing what Mr. Hornsby threatened to do to me. So, Mr. Hornsby, I've decided to put this review back online. And I'll probably post it on other sites, too. My review is my perspective on what happened when I called you back in 2013. Let's see if you threaten me this time.

The most experienced, well-mannered, and intelligent lawyer I had met in my life. Handled my case exceeding my expectations and more! Would recommend to anyone and family members.
