I could not tell whether or not Carmen was defending me or the other side. There was never an ounce or confidence instilled in me in any conversation we ever had about me cause. I was constantly asked to blindly do whatever opposing council wanted which she supported everyone time without advocating ever for my best interest. I was willing to pay top dollar for aggressive, straight forward representation and she’s simply not that. Thousands of dollars wasted on her lack of legal council. I would have been better off with a free state attorney.

Carmen Tankersley misrepresented me 4 yrs ago. Still regret her legal advise as she did nothing to assist me in my divorce. Carmen kept advising me to pay everything outstanding (even though my ex would be responsible) and that I would be “reimbursed in the end” Did not happen! There were so many errors on her part that I ended up on the stand being cross examined by my ex husbands attorney! Time ran out & she should have known the time limitations therefore was unable to cross examine him, Carmen acted as though she did not realize the time allotment for mediation. Totally disappointed!! Waste of money for the lack of service I received. Beware

Attorney Tankersley was extremely helpful in finalizing my dissolution. Her knowledge of Florida's laws, attention to the details, and understanding of my situation was huge. She helped to relieve a lot of stress and pressure from the situation. When I presented her with my desires, she was very thorough in her explanation of the options, including being frank about the potential consequences of agreeing to certain stipulations in the Marital Settlement Agreement and Parenting Plan.

Gave poor advice which turned on me, promised the world and did not deliver. Made everything much worse. Super expensive, lots of bark no bight. Beware she only wants your money!!!

Carmen was able to guide me in the right direction with my family case. She not only helped me understand the process but made me feel confident that I would be fully informed of the case as it proceeded.
