Mr. Rose is an excellent attorney, very professional and helped me fight a completely fraudulent administrative complaint, avoid potential professional license repercussions, and a hefty fine. I am an Esthetician and have my own skin care practice. After participating in a local small business event, a Department of Health inspector booked an appointment and showed up at my establishment. Upon his arrival he gave me an administrative complaint, cease and desist, and administrative fine. There were competitors, of which I did not care, at the small business event, more of a faux pas of the event holder. When the investigator arrived the complaint stated that I offered him surgical services in office even though the letter was prewritten. Basically, a petty competitor called in a tip to the DOH that I was performing services outside the scope of my practice, which I was not. Instead of actually investigating the complaint the DOH "investigator" convicted me and charged me without any investigation or evidence. The state of Florida should require a much more thorough due process in these situations before potentially destroying a business, reputation, and professional license. It was frustrating as I called every attorney and even the local bar association because NO ONE could even guess where I needed to turn for help, thank goodness for Google baby! I am in the Tampa Bay Area but found Mr Rose in Orlando. I knew I was in the right place when his web page came up entitled "What to do when the DOH has filed an administrative complaint against you" Thank goodness for Mr Rose, and his specialized legal services. I recently acquired the services of Jonathan Rose, and I must say that he is amazing. I am a nurse who had a past substance abuse issue. In an act of retaliation, someone I knew opened a case against me. The sticky part of my situation was, that not only was a verbal complaint given, but the person also provided proof of the incident occurring. The board immediately wanted me to go thru IPN. Just when I thought this was certain death to my career, Jonathan went to bat for me, and he hit a home-run. Thankfully within less than a year, I am walking with no marks on my license and the whole thing was thrown out. I hired Billy to help me with my sons name change back in Feb/March. He has done nothing but go above and beyond to help get this done. I have recently experienced some issues with paperwork with the state and he has continued to support me in this process.
