Bad service stay away from this firm 2 years of switching attorneys just to steal the retainer worst firm ever now my family is out of 4000

Mrs. Hamilton is a great family law attorney, she assisted me by going above and beyond throughout the course of my very complicated case. I highly recommend her. Her assistant Vanessa was always helpful and patient with helping me understand the process that I was highly confused about as this was my first court proceeding. Thank you!

The lawyer hasn't even know my whole story about everything that happened and just closed the conversation telling me there is no way I can win the case.

I had a similar experience with this firm as the other clients that left one star reviews. I don’t recommend at all. You are better off representing yourself. This firm is a prime example of why you can’t simply support a black owned business, but need to support a business that is honest and trustworthy instead! If you made the mistake of hiring this liar, please spend the extra money to retain someone with integrity or you will regret it in the end. Once I realized she was full of it, I switched immediately and ended up with a lawyer that went above and beyond my expectations. Do not spend a dime with with this business. Her condescending remarks to the clients that did waste their time and money with her just proves all the negative reviews to be an accurate representation of the callous behavior she exhibits. Just say noooooooo.

Paulette really went above and beyond for me and my kids to get us a fair outcome!! Divorces are never easy. It was a very difficult time and I always felt informed of all possible outcomes. I appreciate her knowledge and how she aggressively got me the results I was seeking! Her assistant Vanessa was always a pleasure to work with, very efficient and resourceful. Please do your research on a good family lawyer before going with the Law office of Paulette Hamilton. She came as a stellar recommendation from a previous client who spoke so highly about her honesty and integrity but I was completely unimpressed. At a mediation that was scheduled she was completely unfamiliar with my case…it was clear that there had been no preparation on her part and she failed to prepare me for a realistic outcome. I definitely don’t recommend. I would bet my last dollar that she pays people for all these 5 star reviews…don’t bother hiring her…she has been a complete waste of my time and money. Also, if you already made the mistake of hiring her, please don’t let her trick you into another pointless mediation or court over something that you feel could have been solved immediately, she stalls as a way to get more money from you, and whatever you do, do not let her see how much you have in your retirement account, her eyes will grow big will the possibility of you cashing it out to pay her to stall with no intentions of fighting your case. This was a huge loss for me and I will never use her or anyone at her law firm again. Stay away! She keeps trying to get this deleted. The truth must be known.
