There is no one I can think of with more passion in upholding the criminal justice system than Mike Panella. The idea of protecting the defenseless and standing up for what’s right came to Mike at a young age, when he unfortunately saw the many injustices in the Florida family law system, firsthand. In law school his passion for the criminal side of the legal field blossomed, and after working for some time as a Public Defender, he soon realized that protecting the rights of the accused really was his true calling. He worked hard in the public sector, often going out to crime scenes himself to conduct investigations and to be able to challenge the prosecutions case in court with firsthand knowledge of the facts. He was always the best prepared lawyer in the room, and had thought about every possible avenue and defense before deciding on the appropriate choice. But public defense was limiting, and there were only so many options and tools at his fingertips. So Mike opened an office as a private criminal defense attorney, where he has completely maximized his ability to work for his client. His other reviews on here are testaments to how great and comforting he has been for his clients. Not only does he get fantastic results, but he will make you feel like you and your case are his top priority (because you really are). If I were ever unjustly charged with a crime, I know I would want Mike to represent me. He’d listen to my story; he’d work night and day to make sure that we ironed out every possible detail on my case; and, if it ultimately came to trial, he’d be a zealous advocate on my behalf and do his absolute best to convince the jury of my innocence!
