I too was in that very place not too long ago. Based on the reviews on AVVO I decided to talk with Attorney Bowen. I knew from the moment I met her she actually cared about me and my situation, she knew I was scared and really needed help. It didn't take me long to decide to go with her and I am so glad I did, once I signed the documents I even felt an immediate sense of relief knowing I was taking action in the best way possible. I was a complete mess, yet Attorney Bowen and her incredible staff was able to break everything down into small chunks I could chip away at so we could file properly. At the end of it we achieved the result we wanted and I am currently building back as opposed to stagnating in fear. Shortly after being widowed, I incurred medical problems that used up my husband’s retirement and our IRA. I wasn’t on Medicare at that time and just watched our money disappear. I was finally able to return to work but eventually lost my job. I struggled for a long time to hold onto our home and worked long hours at several different jobs just to maintain it. It was a losing battle. I couldn’t get help from the bank or HARP or any other hardship programs. I tried various times for payment plans or other financial tools with the bank but was always met with a no. The only way to hold onto my home was to file bankruptcy and make mortgage payments through a Trustee of the Court. Anne-Marie made the process bearable. She guided me to the right program and led me through the entire process. There were no surprises, financial, in fees or information. Everything that you read about her is true: she is well experienced, professional, an expert communicator and responsive. But there’s so much more in dealing with her. Having researched other attorney groups and individuals, I found I would only be a number or a case file sitting in a stack of files on someone’s desk. Anne-Marie is a wonderful person who make s a wonderful attorney.
