I initially consulted and hired Karen Middlekauff from Losey Law in the Spring of 2015 to assist me in my child custody litigation for my 3 children, ages 2, 3 and 5 at the time. We were living in Hillsbourough County, Tampa at the time and I made sure to do my due diligence and meet with several attorneys in the area. From day one, Karen was fully engaged, she asked the right questions, she was extremely responsive and up-to-speed on what was going on with the case. Karen knew my children's names, their ages, she made me feel like she genuinely cared about my family and to me, that is something I had never experienced with other attorneys. I never had to remind Karen of details we had discussed, she constantly reminded me and guided me through the process of what to file, when to file them, what information to provide, etc. For such a difficult time, Karen truly made the experience a pleasurable as possible. For this reason, I rehired Karen in 2019 after she had moved on to another firm in the Orlando area. Even though she no longer lived or practiced in the Tampa area, Karen happily accepted my case and was a key reason that I was granted full custody and 100% decision making on my three children. After 2 years not working my case, Karen remembered all the relevant details, and picked right back up where she had left off before her move. I strongly recommend Karen Middlekauff and Losey Law for any family court matters, as you will not find a more engaged, responsive and caring attorney in the Central Florida area!
