I enjoyed working with Karen (as much as you can while going through a divorce I suppose). I reached out to Karen early on in my process and she gave me practical counsel. I chose to file for divorce without an attorney; my ex then hired an attorney to get extension after extension. I then retained Karen to help me wrap things up. She presented me with my various options as well as what the potential outcomes might be (i.e. worst case, best case scenarios). In the end she helped me to avoid mediation (and the costs associated) and ulitmately got me to a settlement that I can be comfortable with. Let's face it, divorce isn't an easy, cheap or pain free process, but Karen did an outstanding job in communicating with me, keeping costs in mind and helping me come to a settlement quickly and would be in my best interest. I whole heartedly recommend Karen and have already given her name to two other colleagues.

Dealing with intellectual property rights, trade secretes, and complex partnership disputes can be a long and expensive process! If you’re at the startup stage like my company was, it could mean losing everything you spent years working on, if you’re not properly protected! Without Adam Losey and his legal team, this process would’ve been much more overwhelming than it was, and the outcome definitely would've been different! I initially consulted and hired Karen Middlekauff from Losey Law in the Spring of 2015 to assist me in my child custody litigation for my 3 children, ages 2, 3 and 5 at the time. We were living in Hillsbourough County, Tampa at the time and I made sure to do my due diligence and meet with several attorneys in the area. From day one, Karen was fully engaged, she asked the right questions, she was extremely responsive and up-to-speed on what was going on with the case. Karen knew my children's names, their ages, she made me feel like she genuinely cared about my family and to me, that is something I had never experienced with other attorneys.
