**Update to previous review*** July, 2020 I needed to have a new employment agreement reviewed and contacted Attorney Lightbourne for his assistance. He took the time to not only review the document (a non-compete agreement), but also to run through possible scenarios if I were to leave the employer. Again, his advice was very sound and allowed me to make an informed decision. He charges very reasonable fees for the quality of the work he provides. I, again, could not recommend him more highly. I recently hired Attorney Lightbourne after receiving a separation agreement and severance offer when being let go from my last employment. Attorney Lightbourne met with me and in short order was able to explain the legal options as well as the agreement in detail. After discussing options he was able to craft language to make an adjustment to the separation agreement as well as negotiate an increase in my severance package. While this is not an ideal situation, the advice & guidance I received was extremely helpful in improving the eventual outcome. Also, the entire staff was extremely courteous and professional in all my interactions.
