I am an adult adoptee and needed family medical information. I had already figured out who my parents and birth families were though DNA testing and extensive research. Kim and Erica were able to be appointed intermediary, unseal the entire adoption record and case notes, obtain my original birth certificate, and death certificates with cause of death for both my biological parents. This was to confirm my research and see if there was any medical info in the files. I had them reach out to some maternal cousins who agreed to direct contact and we exchanged a lot of medical info and photographs. I have now requested they reach out to my paternal immediate family.
