I hired Teris to help me with a child custody case which was a long and difficult case. She was very patient and detailed when it came to the case and we prevailed. I would definitely use her again for any future proceedings and would highly recommend her.

I hired Teris to handle a temporary custody case that at first seemed to be just a simple matter but turned out to be contested. From the first conversation I had with Teris, she put me at ease and I knew she understood exactly what I was thinking and feeling. She knew the emotional investment I had to ensure that we did everything possible to reach our end goal - to assure that our grandchildren and their mother could be reunited in a reasonable period of time while maintaining a consistent and stable environment for them. Teris represented me in my recent divorce proceeding. I initially thought it would be a very simple matter. As these things often go, it did get more complicated than expected. I hired her for a family law and I thought we connected and she was sincere about helping me. In a nutshell, she took my money and I barely heard from her. She would miss appointments and hearings and I wouldn't hear from her until weeks later, with a poor explanation and bare reassurance or confidence in her ability to represent me moving forward. I won't even go into detail about my actual case, but basically it seems like she's Team Teris/Orlando Family Firm and does not have your best interest/child's interest. But she is a nice lady.
