I've hired and worked with many lawyers in my life, and I know a great one when I speak with them. Mr. Mendez and I had our initial consultation today, after I was referred to his firm by Colombo & Hurd, PL. We ran into multiple technical hurdles getting our Zoom call started, but EACH time we dropped, Mr. Mendez contacted me back to continue the conversation - FAR past the original ~30 minute time block. The things we covered are not going to make my situation "easy" - but I immediately appreciated his depth of knowledge, and his commitment to being honest and ethical. I offered to pay further, to offset the amount of time he was spending on the phone with me - but he declined, and continued to make good recommendations for my next course of action. For those comparing legal options in this area, I highly recommend scheduling a call, and speaking with him directly. Thanks, -Ian

Terrible lawyer honestly. Very unprofessional and extremely pricey for his mediocre job! Gives half information, doesn’t communicate when he needs too, doesn’t know how to explain things clearly, confuses you, LOOSES PEOPLE PAPERWORK and thennnnnnn on top of loosing all your paperwork that was in his hands, stilllll charges you an arm and a leg… I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
