David provided a FREE consultation w/ myself regarding a minor family law issue. He provided great advice to attempt to resolve this issue first w/o hiring an attorney. Many attorneys will ramble on without and direct steps, however, David provided some direct advice to assist me in my legal issue. This review is only to speak to David's ability for consultation, and not necessarily, direct litigation skills. This was very generous of his time and I thank him for his advice.

Dave was a lifesaver during my divorce experience. He was helpful in many ways, but mainly in his advice as to handle the situations that arise in divorce.

We are very happy with the results of a family divorce situation. While this was a very painful experience, Dave was professional and friendly and helped us through it.

At 70 years old, I had gone from a 7 figure net worth to a significant minus! Attorney Merrill handled everything without breaking a sweat. I run a legitimate 501c3 non-profit that was sued by an individual that committed fraud and then went bankrupt. He tried to collect a large amount of money from me that was really not his but because of the way he wrote our contract on a previous deal, I found myself having to defend my non-profit so we did not have to pay a large sum of money that we really did not owe. Going to court would be expensive so I contacted Mr. Merrill who took my case. In a very short period of time, he was able to reach a deal for me that both protected my non-profit and reach an agreement that was amenable to both sides. Mr. Merrill knows the bankruptcy law very well, is an excellent negotiator, and is very personable (a trait often difficult to find among attorneys). I highly recommend him.

Mr. Merrill was extremely helpful. His reply to my thumbtack page was so quick. I really needed his help with my bankruptcy filing which he was so patient and helpful in informing me. Honestly, the nicest lawyer I have ever spoken to. I happen to be a single woman that got into a financial predicament and I needed some consulting regarding my financial needs involving bankruptcy and Mr. Merrill really came through for me.
