*DISCLAIMER* This is my experience, others may have had a wonderful experience with them, but this review is based on my personal experience, your mileage may vary. I waited several years before writing this review, good thing or it would have been 1 star instead. I don't enjoy leaving a bad review but this came to mind as a friend recently moved here locally to Panama City and asked if we could recommend a good lawyer, I had to unfortunately say I cannot but I can tell you about my one experience with hiring an attorney here, based on my experience, (and they should do their own due diligence) so that made me realize I had not ever left this review and perhaps my experience could save someone else the same experience. We had an incident where my husband was hurt by a local company through their fault. We hired an attorney due to my husband has pain and will have pain for the rest of his life. There really is not enough money in the world to fix something like this, but doctors bills, pain and suffering, lost work, etc have to be compensated somehow. When we made the decision to hire an attorney, we went to another attorney in town first but my husband and I both walked out of there with a bad feeling the way he had people lined up in and out of his office like cattle. I just did not feel he would care or work that hard on our little case when he had so many others to work on, so we decided to go see Larry Perry, we had seen all the billboards, advertisements, etc. so we thought of him and went to meet with him. During this initial consultation when he told us the rates (I can't remember exactly but it was a higher percentage than I realized it would be. I specifically asked Larry Perry that day if he would take a lower percentage if we only got a certain amount of money versus a lot of money, he agreed. (I should have known better than to not get that in writing but we had never had to hire an attorney before and thought he would honor his word). Larry Perry, after awhile decided to give our case to his partner Christopher Young. I guess ours was not big or important enough for him to handle (I don't know the reason but that's just a guess on my part). So, the day of the settlement finally arrives, we are meeting with Christopher Young to sign the final paperwork and get our check. When I saw the huge amount of money they (the attorneys) were keeping, I brought up the fact that Larry Perry said he would lower the fees for us if we got under such and such an amount and Christopher Young said (paraphrasing), *That was him, this is my case and I did not agree to that* and he would not budge. Now, had he at least offered to lower it like 5% that would have been less of a loss for him but would have been a lot for us, but he was not willing to do what his law partner had said he would do. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for capitalism and I know attorneys pay a lot of money for their education and deserve to make good money. My issue is with what we were originally told at the initial consultation versus what actually happened at the day of settlement. Again, I did not enjoy writing this, but I thought that this review may help someone else.

Terrible attitude of the reception girl. Super arrogant and rude.

They're caring, compassionate and love them! Especially Larry and Les. We went through an ugly accident and the take care us.

Ted Howell and his team handled everything with great care. Always kept us up to date about the process and explained all the complicated legal terms. We recommend.

I would defentily use them again. My attorney was Les and he went above to make sure I was well taken care of. This law firm defentility takes care of their clients.

I had always seen this firm advertised on billboards, radio stations, tv ads and even buses, but never thought I would need to utilize their practice until I did. From the opening of the case, they assisted me throughout the whole process and even helped me further understand the realms of law and auto/medical insurance. Perry&Young has law practitioners that follow through with diligence and patience, I wouldn’t have chosen any other firm to handle my personal injury case! If you are ever in a car accident and not sure what to do call Perry & Young. The whole staff was always upbeat and helpful. I can’t say enough about Attorney, Ted Howell and Case Manager, Trina Burch. They helped me navigate through the insurance companies, doctor’s offices and appointments. Every time I called with a question or a concern I got an answer. Trina held my hand the whole way. They both told me not worry just heal. Mr. Howell stood up to my insurance company when they tried to waffle. They had my best interest at heart. I am grateful to them both.

The staff is extremely kind and supportive. I highly recommend this firm for any auto accident or injury needs.
