Caryn Van Matre is the most unethical person I have ever encountered. Not only did she credit $150,000.00 to my former husband in our financial settlement that was NEVER agreed on as proven by the transcripts but she also had the nerve to make the claim that I somehow had something to do with my youngest son's death in November. She made this claim with no proof and as of this writing, a cause of death has not been determined. I was not aware that she knows more than the medical examiner. But for someone to have the nerve to say something like that to a mother in deep mourning needs to be punished. I have reported her twice to the Florida Bar Association and I hope and pray that she is disciplined if not disbarred. She is not an attorney that anyone should hire.
