I called Herman & Wells in early July to get advice on how to proceed with a contract issue with a professional install company. Lauren took my call that day, and although she isn't the one who primarily deals with construction disputes, she was able to walk me through H&W's process for handling such things. She gave me helpful parameters so I could make a judgement call around cost and reward for proceeding in different ways. She also told me that our case didn't have a high enough payout to make using their firm worth our time, BUT pointed me in the direction of the FL Bar Association to get a referral for 1) someone in our area, 2) who specialized in the area of law we needed and 3) could take on a smaller claim case without wiping out our funds. She was kind, professional, and did not make feel rushed off the phone. I really appreciated how thorough she was and how she made me feel like I was worth spending her time on. The front desk who routed my call was also super efficient and helpful. I strongly recommend calling Herman & Wells for legal advice.
