First, I received notification that I owed for a collection for a hospital bill. My name was on the envelope and addressed to me. When I opened it. It had the wrong name, number and address of a person that I didn't know. I called this law office and spoke with Stephen. I explained that I received this correspondence in error. He then said that I owed for a bill that I don't recall. One thing I do know for sure is that I was fully insured at the time. He abruptly said, "take it up with the judge". No! How about you take it up with the person that couldn't read and sent me the wrong correspondence. And not violate the HIPPA law by sending me someone else's personal medical information to a complete stranger. Because I can prove that I was insured, and you just proved that you are not a professional Stephen. Disappointed at how people who are supposed to be reputable and have integrity can show complete disregard to someone trying to find a solution to a problem. Shameful! My response: Sorry, but you don't make sense. If I was running from a debt or obligation. I would not be calling you let you know of the occurence. That's neither here nor there. I handle my obligations, and will do so in regards to this matter. I don' t appreciate you trying in insinuate that I'm running or hiding from my responsibilities. That's your opinion, and as a lawyer you should only be stating facts. My issue was the customer service I received. I'm not angry or upset. Just very disappointed in your behavior. So much so that I had to create this review, which is very rare for me. But I so compelled to do so based on how you handled me. I can only hope that you are mindful with how you speak and treat people. Lesson for next time. Thanks!
