Calls were returned promptly, explanations were clear, and guidance was there whenever I needed it. I even got counselling on "be patient" which, in the end, was exactly what I needed to do. Prior to working with Cindy Vova's office I had another lawyer for a simple step-parent adoption case. After a year of working with the other lawyer, she told me she could no longer manage my case. My husband and I began scrambling looking for a new family lawyer in the area that would hopefully be able to get the job done soon before the signed consent from the other parent expired. They did their homework before our meeting, which showed us they were about business, so we signed our retainer agreement at our initial consultation.
