My wife, my daughter and I are completely satisfied and happy with the excellent professional, timely and thorough service provide by Staci which has given us peace of mind beyond our expectations. It just couldn’t be better. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to set up an Estate Planning. Being close to my retirement on June 30, 2018 I decided to take advantage of my ARAG Legal Benefits membership as a Miami-Dade County employee, and looked for an Attorney to do my Estate Planning.By looking at the ARAG choices for Estate Planning Attorneys in my Broward County area I chose Staci Hershey, Esq. at the HERSHEY LAW FIRM P.A., based on her professional background and experience, and on June 5 made an appointment for June 11, 2018. On June 5 she sent me an email with the Estate Planning Questionnaire for setting up a Last Will and Testament and the Healthcare Directives Questionnaire to set up the incapacity documents (Durable Power of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogate and Living Will). At the appointment, attended also by my wife and my daughter, I filled out a form with my personal information, family members, important family questions, advisors, concerns, real estate and other assets, bank accounts, stocks and bonds, retirement plans, etc. Then I was provided with a FLOW CHART to avoid Probate and estate taxes, based on which my portfolio was to include the following documents: Last Will and Testament (x2), Durable Power of Attorney (x2), Healthcare Surrogate (x2), Living Will (x2), HIPPA release (x2), Tangible Personal Property Memorandum, Enhanced Life Estate Deed (a/k/a Lady Bird Deed), to transfer the house to my daughter when I pass away. I received these documents in an email the following day along with an Estate Planning Portfolio and a Letter of Engagement to be returned signed by me. On the last appointment set up for June 29 she went over all documents line by line answering all our questions and we signed the documents. The same day I received by email all the executed documents but the Enhanced Life Estate Deed (a/k/a Lady Bird Deed) which was to be mailed to me once recorded by the Broward County. The email also contained a detailed list of remainders of things for me to follow up to complete the Estate Planning Portfolio, like accounts beneficiaries, etc.

Barry has been one of the biggest helps to ever come into my life. He devotes countless hours to helping my father and I with both family estate and business planning and other legal questions we may have. He truly does treat his clients like family and wants what is best for you and your families best interest and future.

Staci at The Hershey Law Firm was wonderful in all aspects of the Estate planning process! Most people, including myself, dread and avoid Estate planning altogether because they think it's too complicated or that they don't need a plan.
