Dawn was phenomenal to work with!. We were in a tough situation with our landlord and getting out of a lease due to unlivable conditions. We had mold and bugs and the landlord was giving us the runaround. After speaking with Dawn, she immediately put us at ease and took control of the situation. She was successful in negotiated on our behalf and not only got us out of our lease, but got our deposit back. Her thorough knowledge of tenant rights and responsibilities saved the day for us! Her thoughtfulness and caring took a lot of our stress and worry away. She truly cares about her clients and the outcome of her work verses just trying to make money. Please look elsewhere! We used this lawyer for a simple and amicable non-contested divorce. She was not professional. For example: we'd email her a very detailed list of three questions, and she'd respond in a half-sentence - clearly not reading the email closely. Literally every deadline she gave us (I'll have this finished and sent to you by Friday...) was missed. Every single one. And missed by days or a week. Her final MSA to us was sloppy - missing numbers and sections, and missing key agreements that we provided for her - and when we sent her back detailed and very thorough edits, she only fixed half of them, so we had to do that whole process again. I spent years in typography and graphic design, and it was painful to see that she was just copying and pasting chunks into our document from other places. Did our legal matters get resolved? Yes. We are divorced. But it took longer than it should have, and we did more of the work than we should have specifically because of how unprofessional the lawyer was. Maybe you'll have better luck with her. I never felt like we were on her radar at all.
