I hired Kevin Shirley to represent me in a minor criminal matter. I paid him in full, up front, after that nothing. He failed to show for 2 court hearings, he did not participate in discovery, he failed to depose witnesses, he refused to speak to me or answer my emails. I have hired another attorney. I am preparing my complaint against him to the Florida Bar and I will be filing a small claims suit against him in an attempt to recover my fees paid to him.
