For my first DUI offense I was unsure how to go about even finding an attorney to represent myself while having my best interests at heart. Luckily I was able to meet Mr. Joseph Easton and after a discussion regarding his thoughts on my case I decided to hire him. His demeanor and personality are very welcoming and understanding and he commits fully to the task of helping someone through the entire legal process. This was very helpful personally because I've never experienced any legal issues previously so having Mr. Easton's help along the way was very appreciated. In my personal case Mr. Easton was able to amend a DUI 1st degree misdemeanor to a Reckless Driving while also getting adjudication withheld on the Reckless Driving charge. I was tremendously pleased with the outcome and have to say it was only with the help of Mr. Easton and Leppard Law that this was achievable. Overall Mr. Easton and Leppard Law have been extremely helpful and very easy to contact throughout the length of time I've been in contact with them. Joe Easton of leopard law was retained by me as I was charged with DUI while on vacation. Outcome?DISMISSED!! Not on a technicality, not amended to a lesser charge, no conditions etc. etc. Absolute and total dismissal! Perhaps the prosecutors know him and don't want to do battle. Perhaps when they do battle with Joe they come out losing so they surrender from the jump. I couldn't tell you how the sauce is made but it was made and it was good. I had to retain Joe from out of state and since this allegation/charge is so devastating in a person's life, I had made several calls and wrote many emails leading up to the first conference hearing and not one time did my concerns, emails or phone calls go unanswered. Everything was explained clearly. If I had to call back for clarity, it was re-explained. Two of the calls spilled over while he was at home on a Friday night. Being former military, that's dedication and commitment. His support staff, knowledgeable and compassionate. Law partners, I'm sure equally talented. I really thought my life was going to be crushed in so many ways. If there were any more issues or any issues arise in the future of a legal nature, I don't have to think for more than a second… Joe Easton and Leopard law! I had recently moved to Florida when I was charged with a DUI. Being from out of state and new to the area I decided to hire a lawyer with more understanding of Florida law instead of going with a public attorney. Let me tell you that was probably the best decision I made. The level of professionalism and care that Leppard Law provided was phenomenal.
