My oldest brother, a resident of St. Augustine, passed away in 2017. Our family hired The Zakrocki Law Firm to handle the estate and his representation was outstanding. We were not the easiest of clients, since my older brother and I are lawyers ourselves. Steve was very thorough in his handling of all aspects of the case, keeping us frequently informed of the progress. His communication was especially appreciated as we had no other family in the St. Augustine area. He fee was quite reasonable considering the work he put in on the case. But most importantly, the estate was resolved in a timely and professional manner. We would not hesitate to hire Steve and his firm again if the need arises.

Attorney Steven Zakrocki maintains and defines what great old-fashioned customer service is all about. My family was referred to Steve by close friends for multiple financial and legal issues after my fathers death. From the start, Steve was very professional and client friendly in determining if he could represent us. He is easy to reach with just a phone call, humble and honest when he hasn’t encountered a particular situation and reaches out to other reputable attorneys who specialized in situations outside of his area, very helpful and patient when you call him on providing sound legal advice, exceptionally timely in communications via phone or email, and very knowledgeable in the legal matters. I would definitely say that his Law Practice is second to none when it come to providing outstanding and affordable customer/client legal services.

My first experience working with Steve was through a new non-profit organization I was involved with for which he was providing legal assistance. Even though he was doing the work pro bono, he was totally focused on ensuring a successful set up for our organization. He gave his time freely, answered all of our questions, and provided the professional advice and direction we needed to make sure our organization was in compliance with all legal requirements and current "best practices".Since that time, Steve has continued to be available to help our organization when questions and issues arose. When my wife and I started reading and hearing about recommendations to change from having a Will to having a Trust, we had questions about the process and whether it was appropriate for us. We decided to explore the our options with an attorney and we immediately thought of Steve. From our first meeting with Steve we felt very comfortable with him. He thoroughly explained how Wills and Trusts differ and the pros and cons of both He patiently answered all of questions, of which we had many. We especially appreciated his calm manner and the relaxed atmosphere in our meetings with him. He demonstrated a sincere interest in getting to know us in order to develop the best plan for us. Even after preparing our Trust, Steve checks in with us periodically to make sure our Trust continues to meet our needs and wishes. Our experience with Steve has been nothing but positive.
