Bryan did everything I could have wanted. Kept in contact with me the whole time, any questions I had I could call of text him and get a response back in an appropriate amount of time. He was able to get me the best deal possible at a decent price. Would recommend him to anyone as he is one of the best in the county.

I hired him a few years ago from a criminal case involving myself being assaulted by a LEO, said renegade cop busted up my face, damaged my vision, and then attempted to lie about the situation in his report, Honestly if it wasn't for Brian I would have went to jail and been charged with some severe charges that were not true. this man is very easy to talk very well known in the local legal community and honestly one of the most polite lawyers I have ever spoken too, if I ever was to need criminal defense again Mr. Shorstein would be the first man I pick

I emailed Mr. Shorestein about an old warrant that needed to be taken care of before my fiance and I returned to Florida. He gave us a thorough consultation to get all the info he needed and answered all questions we had, and never made us feel rushed like he had better things to be doing. He did a little digging over the next couple of days and took it upon himself to call us each day with updates as he discovered more and untangled what was an extremely complicated situation for us. (My friends/family who hire lawyers don't get treated this well, and are often left for days at a time trying to get them on the phone, trying to get the case to move forward etc.) He also took it upon himself to bring up our case to the prosecutor and seems all we need to do is pay a small fee to St. John's County and the case will be closed. After all this, he actually didn't charge us a dime and gave me a name and phone number to call to get the payment taken care of. All of this was done from Utah. He even offered to double check after we make the payment to ensure the matter is completely taken care of. This outcome is incredible, and we will be very happy to recommend Bryan Shorestein to anyone and everyone in St. Augustine, since he is the reason we can even return! It is so rare to find truly helpful philanthropic people. This is probably one of the few lawyers in the world you can trust, St. Augustine is lucky to have him! mr shorstein responded to my telephone call so quickly on a weekend night i was overwhelmed. i was distraught, hysterical, crying and he totally came to my rescue with reassurance, compassion and made me feel that my situation was totally going to be handled..... and so it was.. he was constantly checking on mee, quick in return phone calls no matter what day of the week or time and he will always be my go to guy in the future if need be!!!!!

I was accused of a felony regarding a family members funds that I was responsible for. I was not guilty of the charges that I was facing. I found Mr. Shorstein through his website. After meeting with him and discussing my situation, I felt relieved, and knew I was in very capable hands. Mr. Shorstein represented me competently, and effectively. Eventually, the case was dismissed, and my information will soon be expunged.

Unfortunately, he is out of the area where I needed him, yet, I got more help from him than anyone in this area so far. He listened and heard me, and he took his time very- very generously to explain things to direct me to the essence of my issue. In my case, I am a plaintiff in an embezzlement/grand theft case - I wish he would not be out of the area to represent me. But of course, he also referred me to another attorney who seems to be tailored for my situation just in case if the DA decide to lower the charges from criminal to civil issue. I came across Mr.Shorstein's firm online and submitted a question about a domestic violence charge I had just been arrested for. Mr.Shorstein called me that night, after hours, to discuss my case. He was very frank but was also very conscientious of my fears. Although it turned out that he did not cover my county normally, he volunteered to contact the States Attorney on my behalf to find out where they stood and what evidence they had, since my Public Defender was not doing anything. He offered to do all of this free of charge and direct me to a local attorney if it seemed that would be in my best interest. He eventually took the case and with very reasonable fees. He worked very hard to get the case dropped before they would file charges and worked closely with the prosecutor on my behalf. His guidance and experience was spot on and he did, in fact, convince the prosecutor to drop the charge. This was quite a feat considering Florida requires someone to go to jail and be prosecuted for Domestic Violence. Mr.Shorstein was always willing to take my calls after hours and on the weekends throughout the case. The money I spent on his service is the best money I have ever spent.
