Donny actually cares about all his clients he took time out of Father’s Day just to come see me while I was incarcerated just to talk to me about my case, to me he’s more of friend/mentor. There is a special place in heaven reserved just for Donnie. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that he not only took on my close friends case but also took on his cause. My friend was facing one of those nightmarish legal situations where the system was being manipulated against him falsely by an ex-girlfriend/predator and all of the checks and balances that were designed to prevent it from happening had either failed or were not available to him because the system itself is horribly broken and nobody in any official capacity in Pinellas County gave a damn. This friend served two tours of duty defending our country and the very system that refused to protect his rights and freedom and nobody cared enough to do the right thing until by the grace of God another close friend recommended Donnie. By this time I had lost track of how many Attorneys I had plead my friends case to with each resulting in the same quote of astronomically high retainer fees and a boatload of clearly emply promises (it's funny how all the usual robo-criminal case attorneys have virtually identical sales pitches). So when I met with Donnie I knew within just a few minutes he was not like any of the others...and boy is that an understatement! Donnie compassionately listened to my friends story and offered to take his case for a very reasonable retainer but thats only the beggining. Donnie was hands on for every aspect of the case, made sure that every possible discovery and motion option was exercised and even visited my friend in jail on Thanksgiving to give him some great news about his case....THANKSGIVING DAY! Because of his passion and dilligence to right a very serious wrong the State of Florida was forced to drop their case entirely and free my friend so he could be home for Christmas which was my only Christmas wish. He could have been like all the other Attorneys we talked to and pressured my friend to take the States plea offer even though he was innocent but not Donnie. Donnie was more interested in making the right the decision for my friend which was to bury the state in an everest sized mountain of evidence proving how boneheadedly wrong the states case was and that's exactly what he did. My friend is innocent and free today and I received the only thing I wanted for Christmas all because of an Angel named Donnie Kilfin, a million thank you's are not enough! If Donnie decides to take your case (and he doesn't take all cases) consider yourself blessed and fortunate to have a super power advocate for right on your side and have no doubt he will do everything humanly possible to get you through whatever legal nightmare you face with a positive outcome.

Whew! I don't even know where to begin. I was in the worse trouble I had ever been in and had no idea what to expect. After calling 20+ lawyers, which some of them wouldn't even speak to me without a high down payment and only a offer of getting me minimum jail time, I had just about gave up, then I found Mr. Kilfin. He talked to me for at least 45mins to an hour and was very honest without even mentioning money. Most importantly Mr.Kilfin LISTENED TO ME. Never made promises and always remained positive, which gave me hope. I was homeless and he even helped with that. Long story short, I was able to get no jail time, a roof over my head and a chance to fix my mistake. I am truely appreciative of Mr.Kilfins hard work, no words can really express how I feel.
