I am very satisfied with my Attorney Dana B Kane she helped me out a lot in my case regarding my 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter. She was always on top of anything that I needed and always was available when I called or emailed her. Initially , when I started working with Boyer and Boyer I felt a little concerned the head of the firm seemed like a good guy ,but almost too good to be true, which it was. I worked with one of his associates, Neil and their paralegal Heather who; if I could have I would’ve continued to work with them. I legitimately thought my attorney and paralegal were great! I just needed clearer communication, but their boss deemed me too difficult when I tried to communicate why I was struggling with the understanding of the services I was receiving and fired me as a client. Death of a family member is difficult and quiet flustering and he chose to make my family members death about himself and the money he wanted for doing the job. I was treated as if I was supposed to be emotionless during a very emotional loss. The head of the firm literally told me to stop crying, after I ran all over town trying to get him the check he’d been breathing down my neck for and getting the information my attorney asked for, I was told I didn’t have a appointment ,when I was never told they had an appointment system and I tried asking about that a few times before. I was very disappointed by the attitude I received, because it did not fit into the description of caring and understanding, which as estate attorneys is a very important thing to have.

I came to avvo looking for a good attorney read the reviews in dana was worth the hire i contacted her @ short notice in she accepted the case ask good questions very good professional attitude in speaking up a great advocate! Dana Keane is a compassionate detail oriented professional. She quickly "put out the fires". Dana returned calls and emails promptly, and used her time efficiently. I worked with the Boyers with what should have been a simple case, but became, through nothing I or they did, a very complicated, long drawn out emotional and financial mess of a case. In the opposing side were dealing with some seriously ethically challenged folks (lawyers) who tried every shade of just barely legal, (and then some not), to try to shake my faith and ability to see the process to the end. Not only did the Boyers handle every twist and turn with the up most integrity, they made certain that I understood the consequences of obstacle thrown in my way and the various options I had to use as response to the stalling tactics and convoluted maneuverings the other side was using to avoid actually dealing with the issue on the table, (ie the case I started out with) . The Boyers maintained a patient and professional demeanor at all times, while still exuding warmth. I counted on them to keep me on track to reach my goal and not to get sidetracked by the emotional traps this case presented, I always felt that they had my best interests in mind. The experience was extremely difficult to endure, but the Boyers not only were able bring it to a closure and negotiate a settlement that I felt good about, they also educated me along the way so that when it was all done, I was not left with lingering questions or doubts. I would recommend them wholeheartedly!
