We hired Michael Fayard to file a motion under the "Romeo and Juliet" law. Other lawyers that I had contacted said they would charge 5 to 8 times more than this one because it was going to be "a lot of work." Michael got it done fast with excellent communication and professionalism. He was very reassuring and most importantly worked things out in our favor. Thank you!

I think Michael Fayard was an alright attorney for me. Truthfully, if you want my honest opinion, I think a better job could have been done on dropping my case since it was for a crime that I did not commit and now have to live with the fact that even though I haven't been convicted of being guilty at all, I do have 1 year's probation which I am not thrilled about and find it a waste of time. With the amount of money I paid this attorney, I felt that a little more persistent effort could have been made. I wasn't thrilled of the fact that throughout the 9 months it took to start discussing my case and going to court that I had very little contact to no contact with this atty, not even to ask how I am doing or say hello, was not sent any holiday greeting cards as well as a courtesy for client appreciation. I do admire Michael Fayard for all his talents and credentials. He's a great lawyer and has done well with lots of his cases. Even though he did not totally satisfy my expectations 100%, meaning to have my charges dropped, he got in 2nd place. This means that I could have done if convicted 8-15 years in prison. State offer was initially 10 months county jail, 2 yrs probation, etc. Michael Fayard got me to the point where I was given a "withheld adjuciation" of a misdemeanor, this means prior felony charge dropped, but the misdemeanor one is not admission of guilt nor have I been convicted of it either, judge simply "withheld my adjuication" of the misdemeanor. So, this is as good as and as best as Michael Fayard did for me which is for the most part acceptable and a stress reliever. On the other hand, realistically speaking and voicing my opinion, downfall is I have to deal with probation which I find it to be a waste of time. I know I did nothing wrong. I did accept this offer simply and exclusively due to my lawyer's honest opinion and suggestions vs other opinions from people I have spoken with as well. My atty was concerned that if anything went wrong at a trial and I was convicted due to the accuser's lies that I would land up in prison. I was concerned about this as well. However my case rested extremely strong and since Michael and his assistant Tom told me that there was reasonable doubt by the witnesses against me who changed their story 3 times, etc, this is the reason why I felt Michael could have done a little bit better. To me the witnesses were lying and I truthfully am the victim in this case.
Lastly, I would have loved a farewell handshake from my attorney. I think he could use improvement on people skills. Remember, the clients(customers) are the life blood of every business, thus, this is where my attorney could improve in the future to be more people friendly. His assistant was extremely encouraging to me and very enlightening. Thus, I give 100% credit to my attorney for having worked this much with me. Again, I wish my attorney would have been more friendlier-kind of like holding my hand more for such a stressful situation that I was suffering and I needed a pat on the back as I felt I was suffering everything alone. Again, lastly, I wish my attorney would have given me a last farewell handshake which did not happen or invite me to lunch. That would have been nice. Unfortunately and saddening to say if you ask my honest opinion, that did not happen. I would have been more happier with my case if it did. The cost of my case for my ultimate outcome should have been less as well. Thus, all in all, this attorney is good in general. Based upon my opinion, improvements can be made by him for the future. At the very first start of my case several months ago, I've sent this person emails, but unfortunately he didn't respond back to me timely and some of the emails were not responded to or commented about at all which I didn't like. Other than that, he was alright to me and did his very best for me which deserves a lot of respect and sincere recognition. I do recommend you give him a try. Thanks!

He was able to handle my case and through out the whole thing keep me informed so I never felt left out of the loop. After every thing was fix and settled he was still available for a few extra questions I had about the wrap up of everything. Over all I highly recommend.

Mr. Fayard represented me in a personal litigation matter. He was very thorough in his representation of me and was always fighting for my best interest. The opposing counsel in my case was a nightmare to deal with but I never saw Mr. Fayard lose his cool when dealing with them. He is outstandingly professional and having him as my counsel eased the stress of the litigation process.

I can't recommend Michael enough. I had an issue with my unemployment and he fixed it in no time. Michael was fully prepared and answered all the questions that the government agent and I had. He always explained things clearly without any legal jargon. Very approachable, knowledgeable, and effective. Couldn't ask for more.
