Richard Ellis helped me through the most emotional time of my life, in 2006. A divorce after 27 years. The entire staff was kind and understanding even though throughout the divorce, I was a mess. They are all most wonderful. Throughout the years whenever I called, I was always taken care of with a high degree of professionalism and very knowledgeable staff. I recommend Mr. Ellis for ANY family law issue or for bankruptcy. One could not ask for a better guide through those trying times. Thanks to Mr. Ellis and all his folks

Richard V. Ellis is an honorable gentleman who is being attacked by a vicious woman who has caused great pain to many other victims, including myself, out of the woman's desire of personal gain as well as the woman's mental and emotional illness. Ricard Ellis' knowledge in his field is stellar. His character is without question. The woman who is causing the adverse reviews on this site is lying. Richard V. Ellis has bent over backward trying to assist the woman who is attacking him.

I've known Rick Ellis since we were kids. My father was a lawyer and represented his father and his restaurant The Kings Table. We later won a Babe Ruth baseball championship together in 1970 with the FPL team. After Rick graduated law school he started his practice with my father, Gale K. Greene, and learned to navigate Sarasota and Manatee jurisprudence circles. My father always relied on him and he did a great job. We've stayed in touch over many years and I consider Rick a good friend. He is a good listener, loyal, smart, knowledgeable and a real fighter for what he believes is the right thing to do. I give Rick 5 stars and hope you give him a call if or when you ever need legal help.

I have been photographing Rick Ellis, his Mom, children and extended family since 2009. Rick is a loving, kind and extremely generous man who is thoughtful, empathatic and sympathetic toward every situation he encounters as well as everyone he meets. As a huge supporter of the arts he also hired my college-aged daughter for her expertise in re-designing/decorating the interior one of his properties. His willingness to trust an art and design student boosted her portfolio and confidence which helped her land an art teacher position upon graduation.

I have known Rick Ellis since junior high school and we have remained good friends throughout our adult lives. He has always been one of the finest people that I’ve ever known. In my view, you will likely not meet a person who cares more about others. I would be very suspicious of, and question the motives of those who would make negative comments about his character.

I have known Richard Ellis almost my entire life. We grew up together and have been close friends for the last 63 years. Throughout our lifelong friendship, I have never known a more decent, honest, kind, and compassionate person. Rick is one of the most caring people I know, and is always concerned about the welfare of others. Rick has a strong sense of commitment to his friends, family, and community, and has consistently demonstrated that commitment throughout his personal and professional life. The allegations being made against him by a former tenant are totally inconsistent with the Richard Ellis I have known all my life. Based on my personal knowledge of Rick’s high integrity and character, I do not believe the allegations being made against him have any merit. Furthermore, I would strongly question whether the person making such spurious allegations may have dubious and ulterior motives in doing so, whether financial or otherwise. In summary, based on my lifetime personal knowledge of Richard Ellis, the allegations being made against him simply do not ring true. Sincerely, Jim Anderson
