Unfortunately, not an attorney I would recommend. I secured Mr. Hannan to work with me on a child custody case and was very disappointed with his work ethic and morals. He had multiple health issues come up as well as an office move that kept him tied up and unavailable to assist me when needed. By the time he came around, I had already handled things and didn't need his services any longer. He has refused over and over again to refund my retainer fee despite having done absolutely NO work on my case. He refuses to work with me on any type of refund even after given multiple options to try and work something out. To me, he is the typical lawyer who takes someone's hard earned money and does nothing in return for it. This is the only profession I've come across where you pay someone a nominal fee and even if work is not completed they still are allowed to keep your money. It's very disheartening. Please look elsewhere for an attorney if you value your hard earned money, morals and decency of human beings.

Mr. Hannan has been my savior for so many years. He became more than my lawyer, he became family to me. I am here, happy and divorced, coming out of the whole process with more than I had hoped for! Excellent human being/ outstanding lawyer. I have been dealing with a child support/ custody battle for 10 years now. In 2008, I was granted custody of my daughter by the court. Somehow, my daughter's mother ran away to a foreign country, thus making it impossible for me to have a relationship with my child, although she was aware that my daughter needed to be returned to me, her biological father. Meanwhile, she was still collecting child support until the court abated it. Although I followed the proper channels, filling all the necessary paperwork to have my daughter back, all my efforts were fruitless. In summer of 2015, I received an order from the child support office here in FL stating that they've received paperwork from the country where my child's mother has been hiding for 8 years now to collect child support on their behalf. After receiving that notice, saying that I was angry is an understatement. Robert Hannan was the only person that brought me back some type of peace. After our initial communication, he left me with these few words. He told me that: he can't promise me that the sun will rise tomorrow, and he can't promise that he will win, but the one thing he can promise me is that he will fight for me; not with me, but for me. After he said that, I immediately felt a sense of relief. Almost a year later in August 2016, Robert fought the state tooth and nail and won my case. And that's what I called a true product of success. Robert is not just a warrior, but a great warrior. A devoted lawyer who knows his craft, and masters it. Thank you Sir, once again.
