Mr. Gilpatrick is not only a smart, effective attorney but he is also compassionate and kind. Which is not only a breathe of fresh air but it makes going trough any kind of a legal situation so much easier. His staff is incredibly efficient and I always felt they were on top of my case and there for me with any questions I might have. I'm grateful and would certainly use them again if I needed help.

I went to Mr Gilpatrick already legally divorced needing to amend and clear up some bad divorce papers. Then after that is when my personal case got interesting. No matter how many times we had to go back to court, meditation, or depositions. Mr Steve and his staff members were on it. Upon receiving a summons I was in shock. After settling down to read the document I noted the deadline. I had twenty days to reply to the judge or the court judge would decide everything. Not knowing how to respond I started looking for a divorce/family law attorney. I found Steve Gilpatrick and gave the office a call. His extremely friendly staff started the process. I was provided a free consultation within two days from the initial call. I met with Steve and within 20 minutes I was at ease. He explained things so simply and in layman’s terms. What was required of myself and the deadlines to be met to not offend the court. I was also provided a sample billing statement showing what the charges and fees associated with my case would amount to per month. He told me the things I should not do as the process went and the things I needed to do to help myself through the ordeal. Providing documents in a timely manner and helping his staff, Brooke and Bria, by being organized and thorough in my efforts resulted in minimal costs and heartache until we got to the end without ever visiting the court. Steve and his amazing team assisted me through the craziest two years of my life when I was dealing with a divorce case, Dcf case, dependency case, and custody case, all which played out over about 27 hearings. When I first met Steve I had 13 open Dcf investigations, a false domestic violence injunction, and was paying an exorbitant amount of child support. Things were looking as if I was gonna lose my kids for something I didn’t do. It was not your normal case and there was a lot of eyes in the system on us during he proceedings. I was always proud and never disappointed in his court room showings. There was many times when I got emotional he helped me keep my eyes on prize. After an insane court battle over the two years, one which took its toll on me emotionally, physically, and even financially to the point I wanted to give up multiple times, Steve and his crew helped me stay the course. Under Steves counsel I was found not guilty in the domestic violence, injunction, all 13 Dcf cases found no indicators, and my kids were even sheltered by Dcf from the false accuser. With tears I can say that just last month I was awarded custody of my children by the courts. And my battle is over. It’s all due to the perseverance of Steve Gilpatrick and company. I retained Steve to represent me in my divorce proceedings with many recommendations from friends and other attorneys. I was not disappointed.
