Gena and Kathryn were amazing throughout my divorce. I didn’t want to ‘take my ex to the cleaners’ but did want to make sure I’d have a roof over my head and be able to continue to afford it. Gena made all that happen! She is very down to earth, an amazing listener, and an honest, straight shooter. She definitely came through for me but also kept my expectations real. I hope you don’t never need a family attorney, but if you do, Gena is your best bet!

Gena took on my husband's paternity case with his child from a previous relationship and blew us out of the park with her work. She was exceptional with providing us realistic expectations of what to expect with Court rulings, and she helped us develop a plan to give us the best results. Some attorneys promise the world to their clients and not deliver because they simply aren't probable, but Gena was considerate in listening to our problems and helping us navigate a Parenting Plan and Child Support in a way that made sense and satisfied the Courts expectations. She knows when to hold back and when to strike in the courtroom in the best interest of her clients, and she made it very clear on when it was best to use her valued time in the best interest of our budget. Her assistant, Kathryn, was always so wonderful to work with and provided answers to our questions promptly. We are so grateful to Gena, and while we hope to never need her services again, we would 100% use them if ever they are warranted in the future.

Ms Toner went above and beyond during my divorce settlement. There was a bit of conflict between my ex and I but she was very professional and took great care of me during this time. I was able to come out of my mediation extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend her services!

Hired Ms Toner to represent me in a divorce. During the representation, communication was delayed by days. Received an email with one of her other clients retirement plan statement attached. One week before court ordered mediation, arrived at office with plan to review spouse's financials and formulate strategy going into mediation. I was presented with a binder, that contained my provided financials. Discovered that she had not obtained his financials, which should have been provided 45 days after filing for dissolution. It had 5 months since filing, with no follow up to obtain them and mediation had to be cancelled. She filed a motion to compel documents. At this point fired this attorney and obtained new counsel. He had to file a motion to compel to get financials provided. Then a motion of contempt when they were not provided. During hearing judge ordered for contempt, it was revealed by opposing counsel that "there was an agreement between him and my previous counsel regarding financials." This agreement was never discussed with me. This attorney further billed me for the motion to compel that was prepared, even though it was her lack of follow through that required it in the first place. From beginning to end, never fell she was fighting for my best interest and had suspicions of behind the scenes communication. End up paying far more than I should have had too!

Ms. Toner and staff were there every step of the way through an extremely difficult process.
