Their attorneys are highly competent, efficient, and frequently obtain better results than most would think possible. Unfortunately, it is all too often the case that someone in need of representation when injured or charged with a crime ends up being represented by an attorney that simply fails to provide the level of representation they're entitled to. You will not find the law firm of Whittel & Melton to be lethargic, passive, or unresponsive; quite the opposite. This was the first time that I needed to use a law firm and I was very happy with my choice, Whittel & Melton, for my workers comp case! I talked to other firms before choosing Whittel & Melton but it was the way they first interviewed me that sold me. Attorney Chris K and Prudence were assigned to my case and since this was my first experience in a matter like this, they were patient in explaining the legal process and the best and worst case scenarios, without “sugar coating” anything. We had a difficult case where the other firm was not responding to requests and Attorney Chris K kept the pressure on them and even had to file motions to get them to respond. In the end, I think we got the best settlement possible. God forbid that I am in a position to need a law firm again, but if I did I would not hesitate to make Whittel & Melton my first call and choice!
