Working with Lori Steger was an absolute waste of my family's time and money. What a nightmare. Unprofessional. Refuses to meet in person during hearings. Everytime she does a phone consult, she's always distracted with her kids in the background. Wore some kind of blue pajama/sweat pants during a mediation. I guess she didn't realize you could see them. Used an office filter during a zoom hearing, while sitting in her car. Left me during a mediation because she "had another hearing". When I initially spoke with her, she told me $5,000 for a contempt and modification. That money ran out before anything was accomplished. We paid roughly $13,000 without anything being accomplished, before having to hire another attorney, after Lori stopped responding to emails or phone calls, all the while I still had money on my retainer. Missed deadlines, total lack of communication or accountability. In the end it seemed that she was trying to get as much money out of me as possible without doing anything she said she could or would.

When we first spoke with Karen. She states, it should not be more then 5,000. One year later and $15,000. Later my son was abused-she is a man hater and submissive to Amy Cast.

Lori is not Karen, don’t pay Karen prices for Lori service. I will just say that.

Lori Steger seemed like such a good attorney in the beginning, but was such a huge disappointment and spoke with confidence, but then when she realized that our case was going to trial, quickly seemed to back down and wanted to settle. Deadlines were missed, even after our follow-up reminding her, asking when witness and exhibit lists were due. In spite of us still having over seven hundred dollars on our retainer, she refused to answer our question ( likely because she had missed the deadline), but then sent us another bill for $2,500. Lori comes off as a very friendly personality and initially instills trust, which makes her dropping the ball all the more disappointing. Lori has absolutely no fortitude in the courtroom and refuses to speak up on her clients' behalf. If you are looking for someone to handle to handle things appropriately and with competence, unfortunately, this is not your attorney.

Everyone at this law firm is kind and ready to listen. The lawyers and paralegals are fantastic and know their business well. This firm is very honest. The attorneys are hard hitters. You want them in your corner.

I have used Karen and Lori Steger and found them to be incredible advocates who outperformed my every expectation. They were always correct in their estimations and maneuvers. I also used Sam Steger for my estate planning and found him to be such a joy and charm to work with. His professionalism and efficiency was impressive. I had a lot of questions and he spend the time that was required to answer my questions and teach me what I needed to know about estate planning, wills, and probate. You can't go wrong with the Stegers, but you can go VERY wrong without them.
