My son, Yves, a student at the University of Florida was struck by a pickup in Gainesville this past April resulting in serious physical injury, principally to his face. John and Elizabeth did terrific work on behalf of my son and recovered maximal financial awards from two insurance companies. This was my 2nd time filing for disability. The difference between my two two experiences was like night and day! Although I haven't yet received a Decision from the Judge, no matter the outcome, Maricruz Mendoza presented my case better than anyone else could have! Not only was Maricruz very kind, compassionate and understanding, she kept on top of my case diligently. I'm a world class procrastinator, and Maricruz was right on top of my case, providing the court with all medical appointments and issues. She stayed on top of my case (and me) on a regular basis and would not let me add any medical updates to the "black hole" of things I'm supposed to be doing.
