Ms. Seidule has represented me twice for motor vehicle accidents that were not my fault. Each time, she treated me as if I were her only case. Her attention to detail, compassion for my injuries, and professionalism were above and beyond what I expected. Each time, she delivered on her word for everything we discussed and agreed on. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking the best PI attorney in Florida.

In 2013 I was injured while walking my dog near my residence at Newport Isles - my injury was the result of my HOA not properly overseeing the construction that resulted in my requiring surgery and rehabilitation that took the better part of 2 years. The HOA tried to use every excuse they could of to evade taking on the liability for their oversight and attempted to place the fault on me opposed to their misconduct. Gloria Seidule stood by me through my case, even at times when I thought about giving up or attempting to escape having to relive that moment again. She supported my beliefs in pursuing justice and always took a stand to look out for me and my future. Her services and personal attention in my case was by far the reason for me being able to win my case and another victim to the "Big Bad HOA Management Companies of SLC". She prepared me by letting me know what to expect throughout my case and always gave me the worst case scenario, even though at times it was not what I wanted to hear. Honesty is big with me, and throughout my case I acquired a lot of respect for Gloria, because I know an "HONEST" attorney is a rare find. She would stop at a moment notice to take my calls and listen to my concerns. I have never looked kindly on attorneys, thinking they were always more into the case for themselves opposed to being in it for their clients, however, after meeting Gloria, my views since my case have changed and I wouldn't hesitate contacting her again in the event I am ever in need of her services in the future. If you are considering seeking legal advise or are in need of an attorney that you can trust and that is dedicated to their practice, you would be wise to contact Gloria Seidule and see for yourself the dedication and experience she can offer you. THANK YOU Gloria for being who you are!!!!!!

Gloria is a very knowledgeable attorney. Exceptional, Outstanding, superb, just a few words to describe her. I have used her twice for two different cases, and her professionalism is second to none. She was able to settle both cases and received a great settlement for both. It wasn't easy, but she is very patient and understanding. Her clients are her priority. Besides being a great attorney she is also a great person and will fight to always make sure you are happy and satisfied. What else can I say about Gloria Seidule? Well I am sure she'll be my attorney next time I need one, you should do the same.

I hired Gloria Seidule in order to protect my interest in a personal injury case and was seriously disappointed to the point that I had no choice but to terminate her and source new attorneys. I hired Ms. Seidule based on a case that she had advertised claiming a large award against a major retailer; however, I found out shortly after hiring her that it was not a settled case and yet she used it to attract business without clarifying the true status of the case. By law, attorneys must add disclaimers that inform potential clients of actual recovery to the victim and whether or not the case is settled; she willingly omitted all of this information. This was very deceitful and costly in my case. Ms. Seidule not only wanted 40% in attorney fees, but she crafted a way to force responsibility upon me for another grossly inflated contingency fee. This fee exceeded the 40%, only for a friend and cohort of hers to do work all other attorneys lay out as part of their cost to build the case, thus the reason they take 40%. Furthermore, Ms. Seidule initiated a consortium claim for my daughter that caused a motion for sanctions that my new attorneys had to drop quickly to avoid further legality issues that were imminent. It was extremely questionable and drove me to file a complaint with the Florida Bar Association and now I'm having to get ready to file a malpractice suit to retrieve financial damages that I am facing as a result of her abusing my trust and convincing me I needed to hire her friend. Although the Florida Bar Association addressed it and informed her that they do not condone her conduct and told her to adjust her conduct accordingly, I am still being sued for $72,500 by Ms. Seidule's friend and business cohort - the same individual she claimed we needed. This video production is estimated to be worth $5,000. to $10,000. max, based on similar productions that attorneys normally pay for recovery upon settlement. It has now been a year since my new attorneys settled the case for a lot more than she insisted I take if offered at mediation. Additionally, I still have to fight to undo Ms. Seidule's unethical tactics which grossly increased my legal fees for a video that was not necessary or ever used to settle my case. It's the opinion of many that Ms. Seidule was protecting her own interests and not my interest, which is what attorneys are bound by oath to do. Considering the experience and all of the facts, I cannot recommend this attorney.

After calling Ms. Seidule after my accident, I felt confident to have my case with her an the staff. She handled all the insurance calls, explained my medical reports and advised me about the recovery process. When it was time for court she made me feel confident and the end results were more that I could have imagined to help me with future surgeries. Anytime you need a lawyer who is committed to her clients. Call Gloria Seidule

Attorney John Pape is by far the best man for the job. The day I contacted his office, Donaldson and Watson, his team immediately took on my claim, and a contract was conveniently emailed to me. One hundred percent hands-on and available with a call back within the hour, if not within five minutes. Every time. Didn’t even need to go into the office. He even helped handle things that were outside the scope of practice of my claim, lending his legal expertise with no attitude whatsoever, always willing to give a lending ear. This attorney is absolutely hands down, a man of his word, and a great man overall. So incredibly grateful that I chose this firm, and the amazing team at Donaldson and Watson. Every aspect of my claim was handled with absolute expertise, in a few short months. The team of individuals who facilitated all of this for me, were so courteous, professional and empathetic. Talk about going the extra mile; Samantha even helped set up appointments for me when I was too busy to do so. I thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I had the pleasure of having Mr Lance Richard represent me recently and I can confidently say that the services exceeded my expectations. Lance impressed me with his professional demeanor and innovative approach. Lance and his staff had the ability to think outside the box and tailor strategies specifically to my situation (which was far from easy), truly remarkable. What stood out the most was their meticulous attention to detail, especially their care and empathy which gave me a sense of security and trust throughout the entire process. knowing that every aspect of my case was being handled with the utmost care and expertise. The final results gave me back my normalcy in life which on the outset was very daunting. If you’re looking for an attorney who combines professionalism with a creative problem-solving mindset, who really cares, I highly recommend Lance and his staff. Their counsel and care resulted in a huge win.

I was in a serious car accident and I had no idea what to do. Christie pointed me in the right direction at every step. Lance is an amazing lawyer but also a wonderful guy to meet. They continued to work on my case when I thought it was hopeless. The driver that hit me had horrible insurance but I still received and amazing settlement that completely blew my mind. I am so thankful I was referred to Lance and would absolutely use him again if needed. Everyone in the practice is awesome!

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Stuart, Florida?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
