I have know Joseph Gufford for a couple of years, both personally and professionally. I have found Joe to be both an effective attorney and a balanced leader in the community. I believe this to be a winning combination and the values that I prefer in a litigator and advocate.

I recently had a legal situation that was multi-state, contentious, and difficult to determine the real issues of the case since there was no foundation for the suit. Attorney Gufford and his team were exceptional at diving to the bottom of the issues, getting the facts directed to the proper avenues of the court system, in both states!, resolving the issue in my favor and never wavering from the task at hand until success was achieved. He is a great communicator and never left me wondering what was happening day to day. Having the feeling from Attorney Gufford that he totally had my back was an incredibly positive experience. Joe Gufford was not my first firm that I approached with my case. I cannot say enough about Attorney Gufford and his staff. I was faced with an extremely troubling issue with which I needed council. Attorney Gufford and his staff stayed after hours to meet me and went above and beyond to help us. If you have need of council I cannot suggest anyone better.

Joe Gufford was my attorney for 15 years while I raised my kids element through high school. He always supported me following the laws and making ethical decisions (even if neither of us liked it). He always took my calls (even on weekends and holidays). With his help, I was able to make sure my children graduated high school prepared for college. And, now they are both graduates with BS degrees and successful careers lined up. This is all possible because Mr. Gufford helped through numerous actions in court to make sure my children were protected. My children were always priority when he made his his arguments. Now, over the 20 years that I’ve known him, I can still recommended him in any divorce or child custody case.
